UFC Fight Night: de Ridder vs. Allen Aftermath — Rankings Shake-Up Across Middleweight and Bantamweight Divisions

UFC Vancouver was an event filled with momentum-shifting performances that directly impacted the Fight Minds algorithmic rankings. Several divisions saw notable movement as contenders made statements inside the Octagon.

In the middleweight division, Brendan Allen made one of the biggest leaps of the year, climbing seven spots to #4 after stopping Reinier de Ridder in the main event. Allen’s performance, surviving the early grappling exchanges and then breaking de Ridder down with damage, earned him a decisive victory and solidified his place among the elite. Reinier de Ridder, meanwhile, drops two places to #9 after the loss.

Mike Malott joins the welterweight top 15 for the first time, landing at #13 after a composed and gritty win over Kevin Holland. Despite being hurt early, Malott turned the tide with pressure and volume, marking a breakthrough moment for Canadian MMA. Daniel Rodriguez and Randy Brown each slide down one position.

In bantamweight, Aiemann Zahabi rises two spots to #7 after edging Marlon Vera in a competitive fight that showcased his sharp cardio and consistent output. Vera slips one place to #11, while Montel Jackson moves up to #10 following the reordering.

Over in the women’s flyweight division, Manon Fiorot’s quick TKO win over Jasmine Jasudavicius further reinforces her standing as the clear #2 contender behind champion Valentina Shevchenko. Jasudavicius remains in the rankings but loses some ground in the pound-for-pound list due to the defeat.

The women’s bantamweight division also sees movement, as Melissa Croden debuts in the rankings at #13 after an impressive TKO win over Tainara Lisboa. Her composed striking and finishing instinct suggest a bright future in a division still seeking new blood behind champion Kayla Harrison.

Elsewhere on the card, Drew Dober rebounded with a fiery knockout on the prelims, but the lightweight top 15 remains stable as no ranked fighters competed.
